Our club was formed in the mid 60's, by Lloyd Crawford, Myrlas Mathews, Joe Swafford, and others.

The club incorporated in 2001 as a non-profit organization, and enacted a constitution as our governing law.

Our purpose is to further the exchange of information and cooperation between members, to promote radio knowledge, fraternalism and individual operating efficiency, and to so conduct club programs and activities as to advance the general interest and welfare of Amateur Radio in the community.

We train together through radio nets, meetings, and periodic classes, to better our operating, efficiency, and skills in message traffic, and weather watching. We strive to be able to provide special radio operations, disaster relief, and emergency communications should the need arise.

We endeavor to support our community, state, and nation, where the need presents itself.
